Indian cricket team star Virat Kohli gave a pep talk to the Royal Challengers Bangalore women's team after a horrible start to the Women's Premier League (WPL) season. RCB lost their first five matches in the tournament with their first win coming against UP Warriorz. In a video released by the franchise on social media, Kohli was caught talking about his own struggles in the Indian Premier League as a part of the team. "I've been playing IPL for 15 years. And I haven't won it yet. But that doesn't stop me from being excited every year. That's all I can do. That's the effort I can put into every game and every tournament that I play,” he said.

KS Bharat Or KL Rahul For WTC Final? Ex-India Selector Has An Interesting Answer

The debate over the wicket-keeper spot in the Indian cricket team has intensified once again ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) final with a portion of fans and experts feeling KL Rahul should replace KS Bharat in the playing XI. Bharat did not have a great outing in the recently concluded Test series against Australia and his fumbles behind the stumps earned him criticism online. Rahul also did not do well in the first two matches and was eventually replaced by Shubman Gill. Former India selector Saba Karim weighed in on the topic and said that it is possible that the national team will stick with Bharat as the specialist wicket-keeper batsman.

Watch: Irfan Pathan Recreates Yuzvendra Chahal's Iconic Pose, Leaves Everyone In Splits

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan left everyone in splits recently by recreating Yuzvendra Chahal's unique pose by casually lying on the ground after taking a catch during the ongoing LLC Masters in Doha. With Indian Maharajas looking dominant against Asia Lions, Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan ended up miscuing a shot off the bowling of Stuart Binni. Pathan, who was positioned at short third man, completed the catch quite easily and decided to replicate the pose from Chahal which has gone viral on social media for its use in memes.

David Warner To Lead Delhi Capitals In IPL 2023: Report

Australian opener David Warner will be leading Delhi Capitals in the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in absence of an injured Rishabh Pant, reported ESPNCricinfo on Thursday. Head coach Ricky Ponting and the team management have reached an agreement that the Aussie star is the best man to lead the side on an interim basis as Pant gradually recovers after surviving a horrific car crash in December. With Pant ruled out for the entirety of 2023, the Capitals had to look out for an interim skipper and Warner was a standout along with Axar Patel, who was the vice-captain in 2022.

"If That Means Leaving Ashwin Or Jadeja Out...": Dinesh Karthik's Bold Take On India's WTC Final Team

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were unarguably the two biggest heroes for India in the 2-1 Border-Gavaskar Trophy triumph. The two finished as the top wicket-takers, with Ashwin claiming 25 scalps and Jadeja 22. The series win enabled India's progression to the ICC World Test Championship final which will also be played against Australia in June. Though Ashwin and Jadeja were central to India's success in the 4-match series, both of them might not get to feature in the WTC final as it will be played at the Oval in London.
