After 'BazBall' And 'DravBall', Pakistan Legend Introduces 'PakBall'

The word “Bazball” has become a massive part of cricket vocabulary in the recent past with the aggressive brand of Test batting finding fans all around the world. The brand of cricket, which is named after England cricket team head coach Brendon McCullum, has been dominating headlines due to the ongoing Ashes series but it looks like there is a new batting style which can be making his debut slowly on the international stage. India's aggressive show against West Indies also saw gave birth to the name 'DravBall', in reference to Rahul Dravid's team. Pakistan have been playing their own aggressive brand of cricket against Sri Lanka and former pacer Shoaib Akhtar has now dubbed it “PakBall”. During the second Test match, Pakistan scored 145 runs in just 28.3 overs with the run rate going up to above 5 per over.

Rain played spoilsport in the fourth Ashes Test between England and Australia as the entire Day 5 got washed out in Manchester. As a result, the match ended in a draw and the visitors retained the Ashes with a 2-1 lead. The Ben Stokes-led side displayed a dominating performance on the first four days of the match as Australia were five down for 214, trailing by 61 runs after England posted 592 runs in their first innings. West Indies Recall Rajasthan Royals Star For ODI Series Against India

Cricket West Indies (CWI) on Monday recalled star batter Shimron Hetmyer for their upcoming three-match ODI series against India at home, starting Thursday at Kensington Oval. Hetmyer hasn't featured for the West Indies side in almost a year but earns a recall on the back of a solid season in the Indian Premier League with the Rajasthan Royals that netted a total of 299 runs from 13 innings. The left-hander hasn't played an ODI for the Caribbean side in two years, with Hetmyer's last appearance in a 50-over match coming against Australia in July 2021.
