Playing in their maiden Asian Games in Hangzhou, India fulfilled the expectations on them and clinched the yellow metal, beating Sri Lanka by 19 runs in the final. "It was a great experience, we played really well. When we left for the Asian Games, we knew our team is pretty strong and we had in mind that we need to prepare like this for future tournaments, We deserved to win the gold," Harmanpreet said on the sidelines of a felicitation function organised by the Sports Ministry in Delhi.
