Veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan etched his name in Bangladesh cricket history on Saturday by becoming the oldest player from his nation to feature in a Test match. At 37 years and 181 days, Shakib took the field on Day 3 of Bangladesh's first Test against India in Chennai, surpassing the previous record held by left-arm spinner Mohammad Rafique, who was 37 years and 180 days when he last played a Test in 2008.

Pant urged the duo on from behind the stumps, chipping in with his own advice as well. Once again, Pant's charisma from behind the stumps was well on display.
Rashid Khan was in brilliant form for Afghanistan in the second ODI against South Africa in Sharjah on Friday. The Afghanistan star took a five-wicket haul as Afghanistan restricted South Africa to just 134 while defending a total of 311. In doing so, Rashid became the first cricketer in 53-year history of ODI cricket to take a five-wicket haul on his birthday. Rashid turned 26 on Friday. England bowling great Stuart Broad has looked back at arguably the lowest point of his cricket career, and made a rather hilarious admission about it. In one of the most iconic moments in T20 cricket, Broad was smashed for six sixes in an over by India's Yuvraj Singh during the 19th over of a match in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Looking back on it for the first time in 17 years, Broad admitted that Yuvraj could've hit seven sixes in a row were it not for a slip-up by the umpire.
