Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi was seen grimacing in pain after he seemed to have dislocated his left thumb during the third and final ODI against Australia in Perth. However, his teammate Babar Azam came to the rescue, fixing it by pulling the thumb. The incident happened in the 26th over when Sean Abbott hit Shaheen's ball towards midwicket. Shaheen, who was at the non-striker's end, copped a blow to his bowling thumb while trying to collect the throw in front of the stumps.

Phil Salt smashed his 3rd T20I century as England hammered West Indies by eight wickets in the 1st T20I at Kensington Oval on Saturday. By doing so, Salt registered a huge T20I record. He is now the first batter to score three centuries against the same opposition in the format. Star India batter Virat Kohli departed for Australia on Saturday ahead of a five-match Test series, starting November 22. He scored just 93 runs across six innings as India lost a Test series at home after 12 years. With the first Australia Test getting underway in Perth on November, Kohli will be eager to have a positive impact.
