Happy with his national record breaking throw of 89.30m, Neeraj Chopra gears up for Diamond League and World Championships
Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, who bettered his national record in his very first event since the Olympics, has already set his eyes on the next events and said that he is aiming to improve further in the coming months. Neeraj set the new NR with a throw of 89.30 metres at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland, an effort which fetched him a silver at the meet. Oliver Helander, the local favourite, topped the list with a throw of 89.83m.
