Rodgers raised eyebrows when he said he wanted to return this season after undergoing surgery to repair the tendon, a procedure that can take a year or more to fully recover from. Rodgers, who was acquired by the Jets in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers in April, said next year will not be his final season. "I wanted at least two years and I feel like this year was kind of a lost year," he said. "I only played a couple snaps and wasn't able to go out there and prove what I'm capable of. "I don't think next year will be my last year...
