Australian women's vice-captain Rachael Haynes called time on international cricket Thursday after a decorated career spanning more than a decade. The 35-year-old became one of the sport's most adaptable players after making her debut for Australia in 2009, batting in almost every top order position across all three formats. "To all the teammates across my career, you are the reason I've played as long as I have. You've inspired me to be better every day," she said.

Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Marsh Ruled Out Of T20I Series vs India With Injuries

Australia will miss the services of Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Starc and Marcus Stoinis in the three-match T20 International tour of India after the trio was ruled for the series on Wednesday due to injuries. While Starc has been suffering from a knee injury, Marsh and Stoinis have been ruled out due to ankle and side issues respectively. According to cricket.com.au, the injuries are minor but Cricket Australia took the decision not to risk the players keeping in mind the T20 World Cup to be played at home, starting next month.
