Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) president Mohammed Azharuddin on Friday said he was very disappointed over the stampede-like situation at the Gymkhana Ground here during the sale of tickets for the India-Australia T20 match on September 25 but said the association is not at fault in the unfortunate incident. He refused to blame anybody and said he was very disappointed with what had happened. "I don't want to blame anybody. Why should I blame anybody. Actually, I am very disappointed with what happened. My heart goes to the families. We are taking care of them," he told reporters in Hyderabad when asked whom he held responsible for the stampede-like situation on Thursday.

Rohit Sharma Deals In Sixes To Guide India To Series-levelling Win vs Australia in Second T20I

Rohit Sharma displayed his six-hitting prowess with an unbeaten 46 after Axar Patel snapped two wickets in a fiery spell as India notched up a series-levelling six-wicket win over Australia in a rain hit second T20I in Nagpur on Friday. The India skipper smashed four sixes and as many fours as he single-handedly helped India chase down a target of 91 with four balls to spare in a match which was reduced to eight overs a side due to a wet outfield. Earlier, Matthew Wade smacked an unbeaten 20-ball 43 to fire Australia to a 90 for five.

"When You Go To In-Law's Place...": Wasim Jaffer Trolls Rahul Dravid Over Delayed Match In Nagpur

The second T20I between India and Australia in Nagpur was delayed by more than an hour due to a wet outfield at the VCA Stadium. Even though there was no rain at the time the toss was supposed to happen, outpours earlier in the day and the day before meant the pitch was not ready for play. Former India batter Wasim Jaffer took the opportunity to post a hilarious tweet for India head coach Rahul Dravid. "When you go to in law's place after a certain age, things don't necessarily start on time," Jaffer tweeted, adding a hashtag with Dravid's name.

"Harshal Is A Worry If...": Ex-India Cricketer Makes Big Prediction About Pacer

Team India had a night to forget on Tuesday when they suffered a four-wicket loss to Australia in the first T20I of the three-match series in Mohali. Despite putting up a huge target of 209, the Rohit Sharma-led side completely failed with the ball as the pacers, including Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, and Hardik Pandya, conceded 150 runs in 12 overs. Among all the pacers, Harshal, who was making a comeback in the team after being ruled out due to an injury, utterly disappointed the fans as he gave away 49 runs in his spell.
