India To Bid For Commonwealth Games 2030 - Everything You Need To Know
Following the submission of a Letter of Intent to host the 2036 Olympics, India will bid to host the Commonwealth Games 2030, according to sources. The Indian government is expected to initiate the bid to host the centenary edition of the Commonwealth Games. The last date to bid for the hosting rights is March 31. In the recent past, reports claimed that the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) held informal discussions with the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) regarding the possibility of hosting the event in 2030. New Delhi and Ahmedabad are being considered to be the main options.
