USADA reveals imminent split from UFC amid McGregor testing saga - ESPN
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency announced Wednesday that UFC fighter Conor McGregor has officially been entered back into the drug-testing pool, the next step ahead of a potential return fight. But CEO Travis Tygart's statement in an accompanying news release came with a caveat: USADA's partnership with the UFC will be over beginning Jan. 1, 2024.

Riyadh Season announces UFC Fight Night on March 2, 2024
RIYADH: The Riyadh Season is to host an Ultimate Fighting Championship night in collaboration with UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, on March 2, 2024. The event will feature a variety of UFC’s most successful and internationally known fighters, a media statement said on Wednesday. UFC’s CEO Dana White will announce participants in the coming months. The agreement for the event was signed in the presence of Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, and Dave Lewis, of UFC’s Event Operations, Government and Regulatory Affairs. Riyadh Season’s fourth edition begins at the end of October and is expected to attract visitors from around the world during the winter months.

Manikanta Creates New 100m National Record
Manikanta H H of Services created new men's 100m national record on the opening day of National Open Athletics Championships in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The 21-year-old Manikanta clocked 10.23 seconds to win heat No 3 and qualify for the final. He erased the previous national record of 10.26 seconds which was in the name of Amiya Kumar Mallick of Odisha, set in 2016. "I was prepared to erase the 100m record," an elated Manikanta said. "I've plans to further improve my performance in the final." After a not-so encouraging performance at the National Inter State Athletics Championships held in June in Bhubaneswar, Manikanta was knocked out during the semifinals, but he bounced back during the Services Athletics Meet held recently in Hyderabad.
