Gill is now only the fourth player from his country to hold the No.1 ODI batter position, joining the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli. Siraj took the top spot in the standings for bowlers courtesy of his stupendous performances in the last couple of matches for India in the World Cup.
