Indian Formula 2 driver Kush Maini suffered a massive crash at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix F2 feature race on Sunday. Starting fifth on the grid, Kush Maini's car failed to launch off the line at the start of the race. With his car stalled on the grid, a lot of cars managed to evade Maini, before he was slammed into by a car from behind causing a huge crash and immediately bringing out the red flag. Thankfully, Maini and all the drivers involved in the incident managed to walk away safe.

Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were both disqualified from the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday for technical infringements, along with Alpine's Pierre Gasly. Leclerc and Gasly were found by FIA stewards to have cars that weighed less than the 800 kilogram minimum requirement while Hamilton was deemed to have excessive plank wear underneath his car. Driver Kush Maini on Tuesday was picked as a Reserve and Test driver by Formula One team Alpine. Kush Maini, India's sole representative in the highly competitive Formula 2 series, has successfully completed his second Formula 1 test with the Alpine F1 Team here at the Imola circuit. Alpine Turn To Briton Oliver Oakes As New F1 Team Principal

Formula One team Alpine announced on Wednesday the appointment of Oliver Oakes as their new principal, replacing Frenchman Bruno Famin. Oakes will start in his new role after the summer break and will report to Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo.
