Vaibhav Suryavanshi Under Pressure After Century? Rajasthan Royals Coach Responds To Reporter

Rajasthan Royals (RR) assistant coach Dishant Yagnik has rubbished claims that batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi was under pressure during their match against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday, having scored a record-breaking century in the previous match. 14-year-old Suryavanshi, who scored a 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans, was dismissed for a two-ball duck during RR's 100-run loss to MI. Speaking after the match, Yagnik insisted Suryavanshi is very mature for his age, and his failure against MI has nothing to do with media pressure.

The right-arm pacer returned figures of 4 for 22 in his quota of four overs as MI registered an easy 54-run win over Lucknow Super Giants at Eden Gardens. In the 16th over of LSG's chase, Bumrah boasted his high class as he picked three wickets in it while giving away only two runs. Bumrah continue in the attack and also bowled the 18th over in same rhythm. He bowled four dot balls and conceded just one single in his first five balls before being slammed by LSG spinner Ravi Bishnoi for a six.

Bumrah claims 4-22 as Mumbai register five straight IPL wins

MUMBAI: Pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah returned figures of 4-22 to lead IPL heavyweights Mumbai Indians to their fifth successive win with a 54-run hammering of Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday. Five-time champions Mumbai posted 215-7 after South Africa’s Ryan Rickleton, a left-hand wicketkeeper-batsman, hit 58 and Suryakumar Yadav hammered 54 at the Wankhede Stadium. All the bowlers contributed, including England’s Will Jacks who took two wickets in one over, as Mumbai bowled out Lucknow for 161, pushing them up to second in the 10-team table in the T20 tournament. It was Mumbai’s 150th victory in the Indian Premier League, the first time for any team in the league. Bumrah stood out after he dismissed Aiden Markram to go past former quick Lasith Malinga’s record of 170 IPL wickets to become Mumbai’s leading bowler. Bumrah, who has returned from a back injury that made him miss India’s Champions Trophy title win in Dubai last month, now has 174 wickets. Lucknow opener Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran hit back with a flurry of boundaries in their breezy partnership of 42. Jacks got Pooran out for 27 with his off-spin and struck two balls later to send back Lucknow skipper Rishabh Pant, caught out for four while the left-hander attempted a reverse sweep. Wicketkeeper-batsman Pant, who was brought by Lucknow at an all-time auction record of $3.21 million in November, has flopped with the bat, scoring just 110 runs in nine innings. New Zealand left-arm quick Trent Boult took down Australia’s Marsh for 34 and later got Ayush Badoni out on 35 to derail the chase and returned figures of 3-20. Wickets kept tumbling and Bumrah returned to take three in one including impact player David Miller out for 24 to shut out Lucknow. The

Rishabh Pant Blasted Brutally After Another Flop Show For Lucknow Super Giants: "Any Shame..."

Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant was trolled brutally on social media after yet another disappointing show in the ongoing IPL 2025. During the encounter against Mumbai Indians, Pant managed to score just 4 runs off 2 deliveries before he was dismissed by Will Jacks. Pant scored 106 runs in 9 matches ahead of today's encounter and his performance earned him a lot of criticism from both fans as well as experts. Pant became the costliest player in the history of IPL auctions after he was bought by LSG for Rs 27 crore but he has not lived up to the price tag. Following yet another flop show, social media blasted him for his lack of runs and even took a jibe over his mammoth price tag.

Suryakumar Yadav Scripts History, Achieves Never-Done-Before IPL Feat

Mumbai Indians (MI) batter Suryakumar Yadav on Sunday completed 4,000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Suryakumar achieved the feat during MI's IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Wankhede Stadium. However, Suryakumar etched his name into the history books, becoming the fastest Indian batter to complete 4,000 runs in the IPL. It took him just 2714 balls to achieve the feat, surpassing the previous record held by KL Rahul, who got the milestone in 2820 balls.

IPL 2025: Big Score From Rohit Sharma Coming Soon, He's In The Zone Again, Says Mark Boucher

After Mumbai Indians' secured a four-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025, former South African cricketer Mark Boucher believes a big score is around the corner from Rohit Sharma, observing that he appeared poised for playing a match winning knock. In the chase of 163 at the Wankhede Stadium, Rohit slammed 26 off 16 balls and hit three sixes, signalling that he was in the mood to play a big knock. But he gave a catch to cover off Pat Cummins, and departed in the powerplay. Eventually, MI completed the chase in the 19th over to secure their second straight win of IPL 2025.

Mumbai Indians Batter's Dismissal Overturned Due To Sunrisers Hyderabad Keeper's Mistake - Here's Why

Mumbai Indians batter Ryan Rickelton's dismissal was overturned due to a mistake committed by Sunrisers Hyderabad wicket-keeper Heinrich Klaasen during their IPL 2025 encounter on Thursday. During the 7th over of the MI innings, Rickelton was caught by Pat Cummins off the bowling of Zeeshan Ansari. However, he was handed a massive lifeline as the third umpire spotted that Klaasen's gloves were in front of the stump when the ball was bowled. According to MCC rules (27.3), the wicket-keeper shall remain wholly behind the wicket at the striker's end from the moment the ball comes into play until a ball delivered by the bowler - touches the bat or person of the striker or passes the wicket at the striker's end or the striker attempts a run. As a result, it was judged to be a no-ball.

A sprightly Mumbai Indians continued their ascent in the Indian Premier League with a four-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in a one-sided contest on a tricky wicket on Thursday.
