Sri Lanka vs Australia, 2nd ODI Live Score Updates: Australia Opt To Field vs Sri Lanka

SL vs AUS, 2nd ODI Live Updates: Australia skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to field first against Sri Lanka in the second one-day international on Thursday. The injury-hit tourists, who lead the five-match series 1-0, made three changes and handed left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann his ODI debut in Pallekele. Kuhnemann, Travis Head and Mitchell Swepson come in for Ashton Agar, Marcus Stoinis and Jhye Richardson. Sri Lanka made one change with the injured Wanindu Hasaranga making way for Jeffrey Vandersay as they look to bounce back from their opening loss. Hasaranga's absence is a big blow for Sri Lanka, with the all-rounder having played a brilliant knock at the death and then returned his best ODI figures in the last match. (LIVE SCORECARD)

Maxwell smashed six fours and six sixes to score 80 not out off 51 balls after the visitors stuttered against the bowling of spinner Wanindu Hasaranga who bagged four wickets.

Sri Lanka vs Australia, 3rd T20I Live Score Updates: Sri Lanka Aim To Avoid Series Sweep vs Australia

Sri Lanka vs Australia 3rd T20I Live Updates: Sri Lanka will look to put in a better performance with the bat to try and deny Australia a series clean sweep when they face off in the 3rd T20 International (T20I) at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka could only muster scores of 128 and 124/9 batting first in the first two T20Is, with Australian pacers running rampant. After suffering a 10-wicket defeat in the first game, they showed an improved bowling display in the second T20I, getting Australia down to 99/7 in the 12th over, but Matthew Wade saw the visitors home with his knock of 26. While Australia may look to try some different players out with the series in the bag, Sri Lanka will focus on getting their batters to put on a better display, having struggled to cope with the likes of Josh Hazlewood and Kane Richardson. Wanindu Hasaranga rues Sri Lanka's brittle batting after T20I series defeat against Australia

Wanindu Hasaranga said Sri Lanka must resolve the "weakness" in the lower half of their batting order ahead of this year's Twenty20 World Cup after they were held to paltry totals in two matches against Australia. World champions Australia took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series after restricting Sri Lanka to 128 and 124 in the first two matches in Colombo. "There's a weakness in our lower-middle order and lower order," Hasaranga said after Wednesdays' three-wicket loss. "Right now, they are a little bit out of form, and we have to accept that. "Our target is the World Cup. If we can add 10% more on the batting side in the next match, and in the series coming up, we'll be in a much better place."
