India captain Rohit Sharma re-entered the top 10 batters list of the ICC men's Test player rankings after his 10th century while Ravichandran Ashwin, following his 12-wicket haul in the series opener against West Indies, strengthened his numero position among bowlers. Rohit is the highest ranked Indian batter. The skipper climbed three slots to reach number 10 on the list on 751 rating points after India beat hosts West Indies by an innings and 141 runs in opening Test of the two-match series in Roseau, Dominica.

Asia Cup 2023 Schedule Announced, India To Face Pakistan On This Date

The Asia Cup 2023 schedule was finally announced on Wednesday, by Jay Shah, BCCI secretary and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) head. This time the tournament is being played in a hybrid model, after Shah declared last year that India would not be travelling to Pakistan for the event. The tournament will begin with a match between Pakistan and Nepal in Multan, Pakistan, on August 30. The much-awaited India-Pakistan clash will take place in Kandy, Sri Lanka, on September 2. India will face Nepal in the other group stage match on September 4 at the same venue.

Ahead of his 500th international match, former India captain Virat Kohli caught up with West Indies batting great Brian Lara at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad. After taking a 1-0 in the two-match series, India will now take on West Indies in the second and final Test, which will be the 100th game between the two sides in the longest format of the game. Ahead of the match, Kohli was greeted by 'The Prince of Trinidad' as he made his way back towards the dressing room.

Indian cricket team star Virat Kohli looked in solid touch during the first Test match against West Indies in Dominica and although he missed out on a century, the innings was enough to get the fans talking. Ahead of the second Test match, Kohli was pictured working out in the gym and he took to social media to discuss his workout routines. In a video posted on Instagram by the cricketer, Kohli could be seen doing squats along with a dumbbell and he wrote that this was one of his “go to” workouts for strength. “My go to exercise for mobility plus strength? Goblet squats,” the caption read.
