Star India batter Virat Kohli was booed by a group fans as he walking back to the dressing room after his dimissal. The incident happened on Day 2 of the ongoing Boxing Day Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday. Kohli failed to convert a good start as he was dismissed for 36 (86) by Scott Boland. However, as Kohli was walking back to the dressing room, a group of Australian fans at the MCG, who also seemed have passed on some derrogatory remarks towards the star batter.

India reached 164 for five at stumps on day two, trailing Australia by 310 runs in the fourth Test here on Friday. Skipper Rohit Sharma (3) fell cheaply once again before Yashasvi Jaiswal (82) and Virat Kohli (36) steadied the ship with a 102-run stand. Jaiswal was run out following a mix up with Kohli, who was caught behind in the following over. Australia were all out after lunch with Steve Smith scoring his 34th Test hundred. Resuming at their overnight score of 311 for six, the hosts added 163 runs on the day to post a commanding total.

India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli were involved in a terrible mix-up on Day 2 of the fourth Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday. The pair added 102 runs for the third wicket before the incident led to Jaiswal's dismissal. It all unfolded on the final ball of the 41st over, which was bowled by Scott Boland. Jaiswal clipped a delivery towards mid-on and immediately called for a signal. However, Kohli was unaware of the fielder's position and was late to react to the call.

Kohli and Konsts had a heated clash in the middle, with the India star seemingly deliberately pushing the Aussie opener with his shoulder. The incident prompted plenty of backlash, both on the field and off it, with several former cricketers sharing their views on the topic. However, it seemed like the topic would be over after the match referee announced his verdict, but the Australian media wasn't happy seeing the India star only getting a 20 percent fine on the match fee and one demerit point.
