Veteran batter Ambati Rayudu bid adieu to the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this week after the final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. Rayudu, who had announced that IPL 2023 will be his last season as a player, had a fairytale ending to his career as CSK defeated GT to win a record-equalling fifth title. In his 204 league games, Rayudu scored 4348 runs and won the league six times, a joint highest record he holds alongside Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma.
