The Indian Premier League (IPL) governing council announced the complete list of players for the IPL 2025 mega auction. Indian cricket team stars like Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul and Mohammed Shami have been placed in the marquee lists. While Pant and Iyer are part of Marquee List 1, Rahul and Shami headline the second list. The two-day auction will get underway at 3 PM IST (12:30 PM local time) on November 24. Out of the 574 Players, 366 are Indian and 208 are overseas, including 3 players from associate nations. The Auction will include 318 Indian uncapped players and 12 uncapped overseas players. 204 slots will be up for grabs with 70 available slots for overseas players. INR 2 Crore is the highest reserve price with 81 players opting to be in the highest bracket. (Full list of players)

South Africa captain Aiden Markram won the toss for the third consecutive time in the series and opted to field first in the third T20I against India in Centurion on Wednesday. Before the toss, Hardik Pandya handed the India cap to the debutant Ramandeep Singh. After the first two T20Is, the series stands level at 1-1. The winner in the third T20I will certainly have an edge over the opposition before heading to play the final match of the series on Friday in Johannesburg.

Former India pacer Munaf Patel was on Tuesday roped in by Delhi Capitals as their bowling coach for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. The 41-year-old Munaf will work alongside head coach Hemang Badani and DC director of cricket Venugopal Rao. Munaf, who retired from professional cricket in 2018, will be taking on the high-profile coaching duties for the first time in his career. He will replace James Hopes, who left the franchise along with head coach Ricky Ponting post IPL 2024.
