Watch: Trent Boult Gets Pranked By Rajasthan Royals Teammates

One of the most balanced teams on paper, Rajasthan Royals have performed exceptionally well in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. In 12 games so far, RR have won seven games and sit third in the points table with 14 points. RR, however, have lost three of their last four games, and will look to seal a playoffs spot with some fine display in the last two games. Ahead of their next game against the Lucknow Super Giants, the RR players were seen having some fun, with Riyan Parag, Daryl Mitchell and James Neesham pulling off a prank on pacer Trent Boult.

IPL 2022: After Ravichandran Ashwin Hits Maiden T20 Fifty, Wasim Jaffer's Genius Meme

Since his retirement from cricket, Wasim Jaffer has astonished his followers with his ability to turn any situation into a meme, or at least find the perfect meme for any situation. On Wednesday, Ravichandran Ashwin - often used up the order this season by Rajasthan Royals - scored his maiden T20 half-century in the IPL 2022 match against Delhi Capitals. Ashwin hit four boundaries and two sixes in his 38-ball 50 as his half-century helped the Royals reach a total of 160/6 in their 20 overs after being put in to bat. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't enough to prevent DC from registering an 8-wicket win.

Mitchell Marsh's All-Round Heroics Power Delhi Capitals To Eight-Wicket Win Over Rajasthan Royals

Riding on Mitchell Marsh's all-round heroics, Delhi Capitals got their act together in the nick of time to upstage Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets and keep their IPL playoffs hopes alive in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday. After their bowlers restricted RR to 160 for six, Marsh's 62-ball 89 and David Warner's unbeaten 52 off 41 balls helped the Capitals complete the task with 11 balls to spare for their sixth win of the season that saw the team suffer setbacks both on and off the field, including multiple COVID-19 cases in its camp. With the ball, Marsh had picked up the two important wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal (19) and Ravichandran Ashwin (50). Then, he smashed seven sixes and five fours to emerge as the night's hero.

'I feel there will be a few changes, Mumbai Indians can't continue in this fashion', says Anjum Chopra

Mumbai Indians' story this IPL season so far. Their heavy 52 run loss to KKR on Monday was another sad reminder of the state the most successful IPL team of all time finds itself in. They are at the bottom of the points table, already out of the playoffs race and at best can hope for a seventh place finish. It's no secret now that MI really don't have a whole bunch of match winners on their roster currently. Suryakumar Yadav now being ruled out of the rest of the tournament with an injury which he sustained in the match vs Gujarat Titans on May 6 is another body blow for Rohit Sharma and co.

IPL 2022, PBKS vs RR Live Score: Punjab Kings Look To Register Second Consecutive Win

IPL 2022, PBKS vs RR, Live Score Updates: Punjab Kings will look to emerge on the right side of the result when they square off against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium. Currently, at the seventh spot in the points table, Punjab need to keep winning in order to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the playoffs. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are at the third spot with 12 points and they would look to peak at the right time to cement their place in the top four. Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal are the current holders of the Orange and Purple Cap and the duo have been a big reason why Rajasthan have tasted success this season. Punjab would have their hands full in order to stop the duo at Wankhede. (LIVE SCORECARD)

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson to make Test return against England

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is set to return to Test cricket for the first time since November after being included in their initial 20-man squad for next month's tour of England. New Zealand Cricket (NZC) on Tuesday named an extended squad for the three-Test series to include cover for players likely to miss two warm-up games at the end of this month due to their involvement in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The squad will be trimmed down to 15 before the first Test at Lord's on June 2. Williamson's elbow injury kept him out of a Test match in India in December and home series against South Africa and Bangladesh. The 31-year-old is currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and could be among those absent for the warm-up matches, along with Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell.
