Speed, explosion, elusiveness and the ability to create in open space are key traits for today's NFL offenses, and we see plenty of that in the 2022 NFL draft class. Just look at the ridiculously fast 40-yard dash times turned in at the combine this year. Or go open up the tape on some of the top-tier players in the class. Good luck tackling some of these lightning-quick talents.

The 2022 NFL draft is less than a month away, and we just saw yet another massive trade involving first-round picks. So it seems like a pretty good time to take another run at predicting how the draft's early picks might play out. But this time, I'm taking my mock draft two rounds deep, projecting which top prospects make sense at each of the opening 64 selections.
As we close in on the 2022 NFL draft, prospect rankings rankings are becoming clearer and clearer. Executives, coaches and scouts for all 32 NFL teams are tweaking their boards. And similarly, NFL draft analysts Todd McShay and Steve Muench are finishing up tape evaluations at Scouts Inc. and starting to finalize their own rankings.
The 2022 NFL draft quarterback class might not be at the same level as most years, but there are still plenty of talented signal-callers set to be drafted at the end of April. We have dug deep on each passer's game tape and analyzed strengths and weaknesses. But what happens when we compare those evaluations with statistics in a handful of areas? Does it all match up?
