Sunrisers Hyderabad's left-handed opener Abhishek Sharma, who scored 426 runs at a strike rate of 133.12 with two half-centuries in the tournament, got the maximum votes - 1375. Yashasvi Jaiswal (954 votes) and Dewald Brevis (872 votes) finished second and third respectively. The someone else option got 512 votes.
