AUGUSTA, Georgia: Larry Mize and Sandy Lyle delivered two of the most memorable shots in Masters history in consecutive years.
The first golf major of the year beings at the 2023 Masters from Augusta National grounds in Georgia. This year, we will get to see PGA Tour and LIV Tour golfers competing against each other. The field is littered with experienced past champions like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth. Let's not forget defending champion Scottie Scheffler who will be looking to add another major title to his resume.
If all those satellites have mapped it right, the 87th Masters could well be a repeat of last year.

McIlroy is now nine years removed from his last major win, the PGA Championship at Valhalla in Kentucky, which brought his major tally to four after winning The Open earlier that year in 2014, the PGA Championship in 2012 and the U.S. Open trophy in 2011.

The 47-year-old was in a sentimental mood as he gave updates on where his game was at and how his body was feeling heading into the first major of the year. Asked whether he has ever thought about this being the last time he plays round the hallowed turf at Augusta National, Woods gave his very honest assessment.
