CAPE TOWN (Reuters) - South Africa have recalled fast bowler Anrich Nortje and all-rounder Wayne Parnell, and handed a first Twenty20 International call-up to batsman Tristan Stubbs, for the five-match tour of India starting on June 9.

This will be South Africa's first T20I tournament since narrowly missing out on qualifying for the semi-finals at the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. Dean Elgar (70), Keegan Petersen (64) and Temba Bavuma (67) made half-centuries as South Africa made 278 for five after winning the toss. Taijul took three for 77 in 32 overs. He bowled unchanged from before lunch until after tea in a first spell of two for 63 in 24 overs.
South Africa thrashed Bangladesh by 220 runs in the first Test at Kingsmead, Durban on Monday.
