Gujarat Giants finished fifth and last in the inaugural edition in March, while another high-profile team Royal Challengers Bangalore finished fourth. A total of 165 players -- 104 Indians and 61 overseas, including 15 from Associate nations -- will be in contention for the 30 spots, including nine for overseas in the Women's Premier League (WPL) mini-auction.
England batting all-rounder Emma Lamb was on Friday withdrawn from the upcoming one-off Test against India to be played here from December 14-17. The 25-year-old has suffered a back injury and will be returning home to consult with a spinal surgeon, according to England Cricket. While Gordon played her only Test against Australia Women four years ago in Taunton, Bouchier is yet to make her debut in the conventional format but has played 22 T20Is and three ODIs for England Women.

Ecclestone had dislocated her right shoulder during the Women's Hundred in August and went under the knife in September. England play three T20Is and a one-off Test against India starting December 6. "She's the No. 1 bowler in the world across both white-ball formats, she's an obvious standout talent in women's cricket," England coach Jon Lewis said.
Former UAE star Mahika Gaur enjoyed a dream One Day International debut for England on Saturday by taking three wickets in the thumping seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the first of the three-match series.
