Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins Added To BBL 14 Supplementary Lists

Australia's premier fast bowling trio of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood have been named in the supplementary lists for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) 14 season. Hazlewood and Starc have both been signed by Sydney Sixers under the league's marquee supplementary player rule, while Test captain Cummins will again be on the Sydney Thunder's auxiliary list. Due to their commitments across the Australian international summer, the fast-bowling pair are unlikely to take the field, however, the quicks will be involved throughout the summer in an off-field capacity, where their schedules allow.

Yastika Bhatia Ruled Out For Remainder Of WBBL 10 Due To Wrist Fracture

India wicketkeeper batter Yastika Bhatia has been ruled out of remainder of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL 10) due to a wrist fracture, said the Melbourne Stars. "Indian international Yastika Bhatia will miss the remainder of the tournament after further scans revealed a small fracture in her wrist. There is no change to the Melbourne Stars squad to take on the Heat at Allan Border Field tomorrow night (Friday)," Stars said in a media release. Yastika was selected by the Stars with pick 21 in the Overseas Player Draft and joined the squad in Sydney off the back of India's ODI series against New Zealand.

The Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) is in full swing, and star Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry made the day of a young fan. Perry - who plays for Sydney Sixers - took time out of her WBBL schedule to bowl a couple of balls to a young fan who was wearing a shirt with her name and number on the back. In his marvelous 13-year-long career, Warner played 112 Tests and 161 ODIs and broke numerous records.
