"They Hit On The Head": Jonty Rhodes' Startling Revelation From Hyderabad Crowd Chaos

Crowd trouble marred Lucknow Super Giants' impressive victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash on Saturday. As a few decisions went against SRH on the field, fans turned rogue and started to throw objects on the field, prompting the match to come to a halt for a brief interval. After a report claimed that nuts and bolts were thrown at the LSG dugout by fans, the franchise's fielding coach Jonty Rhodes revealed that one of the object hit their player Prerak Mankad on the head.

'Baffled' Ex India Star Questions Umran Malik's Handling In IPL 2023 By SRH

Umran Malik was a revelation at the IPL 2022. With the express pace at his disposal, the 24-year-old pacer impressed all. From Brett Lee to Shoaib Akhtar, every great speed merchant took note of him. Some even asked the BCCI to fast-track him into playing side. He did make his international debuts in the T20I and ODI formats. However, the IPL 2023 has not been kind to Umran in the SunRisers Hyderabad ranks. This year he has played just seven games, taking five wickets at an economy of 10.35 per over. He last played a game for SRH on April 29 and is yet to play a game this month.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Lucknow Super Giants game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season won't just be remembered for Nicholas Pooran's heroic batting at the death but also for the home crowd's unruly behaviour. The match encountered plenty of trouble from fans over certain incidents that took place on the field. However, even when there were no triggers, fans started to chant the name of Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Virat Kohli, especially when LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir was around. Even on social media platform Twitter, Gambhir became one of the top trends during and after the match.

Heinrich Klaasen, Amit Mishra Guilty Of IPL Code Of Conduct Breach

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star Heinrich Klaasen was fined 10 percent of the match fee for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) code of conduct during a match between the SRH and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) played on Saturday. The IPL didn't specify the incident for which Klaasen was being penalised. But, the penalty is likely to have come following Klaasen's decision to confront the umpire over the waste-high no-ball issue that took place in the match. Lucknow Super Giants spinner Amit Mishra was also reprimanded for a Code of Conduct Breach.

Sunrisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen was fined 10 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his side's seven-wicket loss to Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday. The South African, who top-scored with a 29-ball 47 to push their total to 182/6, had an animated chat with the leg umpire. He also expressed his dissatisfaction while talking to the broadcasters. "Klaasen admitted to the Level 1 Offence under Article 2.7 which states the use of public criticism/inappropriate comment in the IPL's Code of Conduct," IPL said in a statement.

Watch: Amit Mishra Stares At SRH Star After Taking Wicket, Throws Ball Away

Amit Mishra is an experienced campaigner but his aggressive side surprised fans during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 encounter between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday. Mishra completed a simple caught and bowled to dismiss SRH batter Anmolpreet Singh but his celebration caught most by surprise. He threw the ball down on the ground hard and then went on to give a stare to the batter. The spinner was quite expensive on a friendly pitch as he conceded 40 runs in 4 overs and it could have been the angry and relief of taking the important wicket. LSG went on to win the match thanks to brilliant batting performances at Hyderabad.

Nicholas Pooran, Krunal Pandya Keep LSG In Play-Off Hunt

Nicholas Pooran justified his Rs 16 crore billing, pulling off what looked like a difficult chase on a tacky track as Lucknow Super Giants were back in play-off hunt with a seven-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in an Indian Premier League match in Hyderabad on Saturday. A target of 183 was certainly not an easy proposition on a track that got slower as the match progressed. However, Pooran (44 not out ff 13 balls), with assistance from domestic bulwark Prerak Mankad (64 not out, 45 balls) and Marcus Stoinis (40 off 25 balls), helped LSG get past the target with four balls to spare.

"Can't Get No Ball Everytime": Lucknow Super Giants Troll Sunrisers Hyderabad Following Frustrated Heinrich Klaasen's Incident

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants saw another round of on-field controversies as a no-ball decision left the batter Heinrich Klaasen frustrated and the resultant crowd trouble even halted the match for some time. During the 19th over of the SRH innings, Avesh Khan bowled a beamer against Abdul Samad but the ball was deemed legal by the on-field umpire. Even the replays showed that it was a no-ball but the third umpire decided to stick with the decision and it resulted in Klaasen having a word with the officials.
