Rahul Tripathi took a stunning catch to help SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismiss Gujarat Titans (GT) batter Shubman Gill in Match 21 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. Gill could only muster seven runs off nine balls before losing his wicket in the third over. Receiving a length delivery around off, Gill hammered it to the left of Tripathi at covers with a lot of power and it looked set for a boundary. But Tripathi had other plans and dived instantaneously to take a one-handed stunner.
SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Gujarat Titans (GT) by eight wickets in Match 21 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, on Monday. A knock of 57 runs off 46 balls by Kane Williamson helped SRH reach 168 for two in 19.1 overs, successfully chasing a target of 163 runs. Initially, an unbeaten half-century by Hardik Pandya helped GT post 162 for seven in 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan were in top form for SRH, taking two wickets each against Gujarat.
Sunrisers Hyderabad snapped Gujarat Titans' three-match winning streak with a eight-wicket win in the Indian Premier League, with captain Kane Williamson leading from the front with a solid 57 while Nicholas Pooran gave the finishing touches with a late flourish on Monday. Hardik Pandya's unbeaten 50 had taken Gujarat Titans to 162 for 7 after being sent in to bat, but that was never going to be enough, as Williamson, who struck his first fifty of the season, anchored the Sunrisers' chase, as they crossed the line in 19.1 overs.
Aiming to continue their good showing from the previous match, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) face Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 21 of the ongoing IPL 2022 season at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, on Sunday. SRH won their first game of the season on Friday, defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by eight wickets. Opener Abhishek Sharma was in top form against CSK, smashing 75 runs off 50 balls in his side's chase of 155 runs. SRH posted 155 for two in 17.4 overs, with Sharma hammering five fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, Washington Sundar and T Natarajan were in fine bowling form and bagged two dismissals each as CSK posted 154 for seven in 20 overs.
Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) will look to continue a terrific start to their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) season when they take on SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 21 of the ongoing IPL 2022 at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Monday. GT have won all their three games in IPL 2022 and will look to get another win under their belt. It has been an all-round show from GT so far, with the likes of Shubman Gill and Rahul Tewatia making headlines for all the right reasons. It will be therefore interesting if Hardik decides to make any non-injury related change in the playing XI that beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their previous game.
SunRisers Hyderabad registered their first win of IPL 2022 season against Chennai Super Kings and now the franchise would hope to keep their momentum going against Gujarat Titans on Monday. The match between SRH and Gujarat will be played at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy and both teams will look to outwit the other. Gujarat Titans have won all their three games while Hyderabad have won just one out of three. It would be interesting to see how the bowling attack of both franchises fare in this particular clash.
SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer T Natarajan bowled a brilliant inswinging delivery that bamboozled Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opener Ruturaj Gaikwad and knocked back his middle stump during their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match on Saturday. Running in from over the wicket, the left-arm seamer bowled a full delivery across Gaikwad, but the ball swung in to beat the batter's attempted flick and hit the middle stump to send him packing. The dismissal saw Gaikwad's poor start to the season continue.
