Australia couldn't hit the ground running in the opening Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test against India in Nagpur, losing the match by an innings and 132 runs. There were huge expectations from the likes of Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and others but the star batters couldn't step up to the task and deliver.
