It all started when Wasim Akram criticised Shaheen Afridi's batting prowess as he promoted himself up the order in a Pakistan Super League game. Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi in a match against Karachi Kings scored and was blasted by Akram for promoting himself ahead of Sikandar Raza and David Weise.
Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf's central contract may be "restored" after a review by the legal team of the country's Board, an official source in the PCB said on Monday. Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars' owner, Sameen Rana lashed out at the Pakistan Cricket Board for announcing the termination of pacer Haris Rauf's contract, just two days before the T20 tournament. The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) ended on Saturday with Lahore Qalandars emerging as the winners. The ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) has seem some great performances. With the prevalence of pacers in cricket in the country, it is all but natural that the speed merchants have grabbed the limelight. From the unheralded Ihsanullah to the talented Naseem Shah, there have been quite a few memorable performances. On Monday night too, pacers Mohammad Hasnain (3/13 in four overs) and Naseem Shah (1/19 in four overs) delivered a great show for Quetta Gladiators against the Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi. However, despite the duo performance, Peshawar chased down a 155-run target in 18.3 overs.
