Manchester City have officially unveiled Erling Haaland as their first signing ahead of the 2022/23 season for a £51million transfer fee.
Erling Haaland believes he will only improve working under Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola after completing his transfer from Borussia Dortmund to the English champions on Monday.
So it's finally official. Earlier this morning, Manchester City announced the £51 million signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Jürgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola's era of Premier League dominance has been achieved without much contribution from specialist centre-forwards, with the honourable exception of Sergio Agüero in the autumn of his career.

Manchester City have completed the signing of Norway striker Erling Haaland from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund on a five-year contract, the Premier League champions said on Monday (Jun 13).
MANCHESTER (United Kingdom): Erling Haaland said his transfer to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund is a "great move" for his career as the Norwegian aims to fire the Premier League champions to more silverware. City announced last month they had beaten off competition from Europe's top clubs to agree a deal with the German giants after triggering Haaland's reported £51 million ($63 million) release clause. The 21-year-old's move was officially completed on Monday with Haaland penning a five-year contract to follow in the footsteps of his father Alfie Inge Haaland, who played for City between 2000 and 2003.
Good things come to those who wait.
