Nikhat Zareen Wins Women's World Boxing Championships Gold: Here's How The World Reacted

Nikhat Zareen on Thursday became only the fifth Indian boxer to win a gold medal at the Women's World Boxing Championships, joining Mary Kom, Sarita Devi, Jenny RL and Lekha KC in the elite list. She defeated Thailand's Jitpong Jutamas in the 52kg final in Istanbul, Turkey. The judges scored the bout 30-27, 29-28, 29-28, 30-27, 29-28 in the Indian boxer's favour. After Nikhat's win, the sports fraternity took to Twitter and hailed the boxer on winning the gold medal.

Arjun Tendulkar, a left-arm pacer in the Mumbai Indians squad, has been bowling great at the nets. He is the son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and has played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy too for Mumbai's state team. Though the 22-year-old is yet to get a game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Arjun has been putting in the hard yards in the training sessions. In a recent video, which was uploaded on MI's social media handles on Thursday, Arjun can be seen bowling precision yorkers.
