He was dismissed by Mitchell Starc in the previous two encounters. Overall, he became the sixth Indian batsman after Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Anil Kumble to score three consecutive ducks in ODI cricket.
