Breanna Stewart's 2-year-old daughter Ruby raced onto the floor and stood alongside Ellie the Elephant as she watched her mom and Sabrina Ionescu do a postgame interview at half court. A portion of the 17,758 fans in attendance — a Liberty record for Barclays Center — stuck around to observe and offer their team a final round of applause.
Caitlin Clark made history Thursday, blowing away the previous record for fastest WNBA player to record 300 career points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists by doing so in her 19th game. No player had ever achieved it sooner than 22 games, per ESPN Stats & Information, and if we look at only rookies directly out of college, New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu held the previous record, at 27 games.
The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will be played Saturday, July 20 (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN App) at Footprint Center in Phoenix.

Rookie sensations Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky headline the 12-player Team WNBA that will face the U.S. women's national team in Phoenix on July 20 in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game, the league announced Tuesday night.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is leading all WNBA rookies in scoring (16.2 PPG) and assists (6.6) as well as field goals made (4.9) and attempted (12.2). After Thursday night's 89-77 loss at Seattle, Fever coach Christie Sides said she wants Clark to shoot the ball even more.
