El serbio Novak Djokovic podrá defender su título de Roland Garros con la actual situación sanitaria, confirmó este miércoles la nueva directora del torneo, Amelie Mauresmo, quien avisó que la evolución de la pandemia puede obligar al Gobierno francés a introducir restricciones.
French Open organizers said Wednesday that Novak Djokovic is allowed to defend his title as the tournament prepares to stage what is expected to be the first Grand Slam without any coronavirus-related restrictions since the pandemic began two years ago.

Este miércoles los organizadores del Open de Australia, Roland Garros, Wimbledon y el US Open, los cuatro Grand Slam del calendario, han anunciado en una decisión conjunta que los partidos que alcancen el 6-6 en el quinto set se decidirán en un super tie-break de 10 puntos con ventaja de dos o más puntos. Una regla aprobada por la ITF tras consultarla con la WTA, la ATP y la propia ITF y que entrará en vigor a partir del próximo Roland Garros.
All four Grand Slams will use a 10-point final set tie-break on a trial basis, starting from the French Open.
