PARIS (Reuters) - Highlights of the seventh day at the French Open, the second Grand Slam of the year, on Saturday (times GMT):
Novak Djokovic's coach has disagreed with his charge over Carlos Alcaraz's chances at the French Open. The world No 1 claimed the 19-year-old was one of the favourites for the title but Goran Ivanisevic has now disputed the claim after Alcaraz almost lost to Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the second round. But Djokovic's coach still believes the sixth seed is one of just two players who could take out the defending champion this year.
PARIS : Second seed Daniil Medvedev cruised past Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia with a comfortable 6-2 6-4 6-2 victory in less than two hours on Saturday to advance to the French Open fourth round.

Rohan Bopanna and Matwe Middelkoop saved five match points to knock out Mate Pavic and Nikol Mektic, the reigning Wimbledon champions, from the Roland Garros on Saturday. Bopanna's serve was as venomous as it has been throughout his career and his volleys too were as sharp as ever while his Dutch partner showed exemplary calm under pressure in an edge-of-the-seat action in the men's doubles third round. A break of serve early in the third set put them at a disadvantageous position but there was no dearth of spirit or class from Bopanna and Middelkoop, who eventually prevailed 6-7 (5), 7-6(3), 7-6 (10) in two hours and 32 minutes.
