PARIS : Unseeded Italian Martina Trevisan surged into the French Open semi-finals with a 6-2 6-7(3) 6-3 defeat of Canadian teenager Leylah Fernandez on Tuesday.
Canadian Leylah Fernandez was defeated by Martina Trevisan of Italy in the quarter-finals of the French Open.
