BIRMINGHAM, England (Reuters) - As if the seven-wicket loss against England was not bad enough, India were docked two World Test Championship (WTC) points for their slow over rate in the rearranged fifth test at Edgbaston.
India captain Rohit Sharma has recovered from COVID-19 and the right-handed batter had a net session at Edgbaston, Birmingham. A day before the start of the 5th Test, Rohit once again tested positive for COVID-19 and hence he was ruled out of the Edgbaston Test.
