Yuzvendra Chahal was in great form in the second ODI against England as he scalped the wickets of Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali. Chahal's solid performance meant that India are in driver's seat in the second ODI. If India win the second match, they will take un assailable 2-0 lead in the series.

Star India batter Virat Kohli would be desperate to come out of his prolonged lean patch when he makes his T20 return after five months with the second game against England, in Birmingham on Saturday. Kohli, who last played a T20 international in February, has featured in only two games since India's underwhelming campaign in the T20 World Cup in October-November when he was captain of the national side. The only T20 cricket he played since then was in the IPL but there too he was far from his best.

Battling an injury-ravaged body, it was not easy for Pandya to return to the game. His career was in jeopardy but he made a grand comeback by leading Gujarat Titans to their maiden IPL title and that too in their debut season. He also led India against Ireland and on Thursday night shone bright with both bat and ball to script India's win in the first T20 against England.
India skipper Rohit Sharma on Thursday made and broke several records with the team's 50-run win over England in the first T20I of the three-match series at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. While the match on Thursday night saw Rohit becoming the first captain to record 13 successive wins in T20Is as a skipper, the game also saw him surpassing Virat Kohli for a huge milestone. Rohit became the fastest Indian player to reach the landmark of 1,000 T20I runs as a captain.
