Roger Federer bowed out of tennis with an emotional on-court interview at the O2 arena last night.

An emotional Federer bowed out from the sport after playing one last doubles match with his great rival and friend Rafael Nadal at the Laver Cup. It was not quite the perfect ending for the Swiss superstar as he and Nadal suffered an agonising and dramatic 4-6 7-6(2) 11-9 defeat to Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe at the O2 Arena in London.

The 41-year-old played a doubles match alongside long-time rival Rafael Nadal. however, he did not have a fairytale ending as the duo stumbled to a defeat. After the match, Federer was in tears and was seen getting emotional. Nadal, also could not hold back his tears and the picture of the duo getting emotional in tandem is now going viral.
