IPL 2022 Live Score Updates Between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings: MI started brilliantly as Daniel Sams removed Ruturaj Gaikwad on the first ball of the run-chase and then dismissed Mitchell Santner. Tilak Varma hit a stupendous half-century to power MI's score past the 150-run mark vs CSK. Despite losing early wickets, MI posted 155/7 in 20 overs at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai and will look to defend the score and register their first win. After being put into bat by Ravindra Jadeja, MI were jolted by four early wickets by Mukesh Choudhary and Mitchell Santner combined. Mukesh was in particular lethal with the new ball and removed Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan in the first over of the match itself. However, Tilak made good use of the dropped chances and played a gutsy knock. Both teams made two changes each. Rohit Sharma handed the cap to Riley Meredith and Hrithik Shokeen while Moeen and Jordan made way for Pretorius and Santner for CSK. (LIVE SCORECARD)
The most expensive purchase in this year's mega auction, Ishan Kishan, was dismissed for a golden duck in Mumbai Indians' (MI) ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Thursday. Kishan, who rejoined MI for Rs 15.25 crore, lost his wicket to Mukesh Choudhary in the first over of MI's innings. Receiving a swinging yorker on the fifth delivery, Kishan failed to connect with the ball and played the wrong line as it took out the off stump. Before his dismissal, opening partner and captain Rohit Sharma also lost his wicket on the second delivery of the over.
IPL 2022 Live Score Updates Between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings: Mukesh Choudhary struck a big blow early-on as he removed MI skipper Rohit Sharma on the second ball of the match. CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and opted to bowl first against MI at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Both teams made two changes each. Rohit Sharma handed the cap to Riley Meredith and Hrithik Shokeen while Moeen and Jordan made way for Pretorius and Santner for CSK. MI will be looking to register their first win in the tournament after a dismal start to this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) which has seen them lose six back-to-back matches. CSK, on the other hand, have one win in as many games and will look to bring their campaign back on track. All eyes will be on the likes of Rohit Sharma, who is personally struggling with the bat at the moment. While, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja will have to lead from the front for CSK. (LIVE SCORECARD)
Rohit Sharma's journey in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 has been a tough one so far as Mumbai Indians (MI) are still win-less after six games and occupy the bottom place on the IPL points table. However, in order to turn the tide in his favour, Rohit could make a couple of changes to the playing XI and try new combinations. Tymal Mills could make way for Riley Meredith and Tim David could also make it to the final XI for their match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai on April 21. Defending champions CSK are also struggling to climb up the ladder this season and occupy the ninth place in the IPL points table with one win from six games.
