IPL 2022, RR vs KKR: Captaincy Comes Naturally To Shreyas Iyer, Says Ravi Shastri

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri feels captaincy comes naturally to Shreyas Iyer, who has impressed in his first season as Kolkata Knight Riders captain. Shreyas was given the responsibility of leading KKR ahead of the IPL 2022 and the Mumbaikar has done a decent job so far, with his team winning three and losing as many matches from six outings. Shastri claims Shreyas will only get better and better as the tournament progresses. Speaking on Star Sports, Shastri said, "Captaincy comes naturally to Shreyas. IPL 2022, KKR Predicted XI vs RR: Kolkata Knight Riders Face Conundrum In Pace Department

Kolkata Knight Riders will be looking to brush off their poor run of form and get back to winning ways when they take on Rajasthan Royals in Match 30 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. After a decent start to the season, the slumped to consecutive defeats against Delhi Capitals and SunRisers Hyderabad and have slipped to 6th in the IPL 2022 points table. Their biggest concern will be their pace attack, with the young Rasikh Salam ruled out of the season with injury. Shivam Mavi has been expensive and was dropped for Salam, and they tried all-rounder Aman Hakim Khan against SRH, but he bowled just one over and was sent to bat at No.9. It will be interesting to see if they persist with him, or turn back to Mavi, who has more experience at this level.

IPL 2022, RR vs KKR: Time for captains Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer to lead from the front

Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson would have ideally liked to lead from the front, but his batting is yet to make an impact. His whirlwind 27-ball 55 at the start of the campaign raised expectations and rightly so, given the talent he possesses. But after five games, Royals look like a two-batter team with Jos Buttler and Shimron Hetymer sharing the responsibility of getting a good score on the board.
