After the match, Musheer, who is the younger brother of Indian cricket team batter Sarfaraz Khan, met Virat and asked for his bat. The veteran India star gifted one of his bats to the youngster - a gesture left Musheer extremely emotional. "Maine rona shuru kardiya jaise hi unhone bat diya" (I started crying when he(Kohli) gave me the bat)," Musheer said in a video posted by PBKS on their official social media handles.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru claimed a comfortable seven-wicket win over Punjab Kings on Sunday at Mullanpur. RCB began the 'Revenge Week' of IPL 2025 in style as they completely outplayed PBKS in all the departments to earn the crucial two points. Opting to bowl first, RCB restricted PBKS to 157/6 in 20 overs with Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma scalping two wickets each. Later, the Rajat Patidar-led side did not face much hiccups as Virat Kohli's unbeaten 73-run knock powered them to victory.

Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal hit half-centuries as Royal Challengers Bengaluru pulled off a seven-wicket win over Punjab Kings in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash on Sunday. Chasing 158 for the win, Kohli, who made an unbeaten 73, and Padikkal, 61, added 103 runs for the second wicket as RCB achieved their target with seven balls to spare at Mullanpur. By doing so, RCB avenged their loss to PBKS at home in a rain-curtailed game earlier this week.
