On another blisteringly hot day, Uihlein began the round three adrift, but overhauled Brooks Koepka following a round of 63 to get to 12-under. The veterans were among a group of 11 players who filed a lawsuit challenging their suspensions from the PGA Tour for joining LIV Golf. Ad Abraham Ancer, Carlos Ortiz, Pat Perez and Jason Kokrak removed their names from the lawsuit earlier in the year, while LIV added its name to the suit.
