Chelsea sealed their swoop for France forward Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig in a deal worth a reported £63 million ($80 million) on Tuesday.
Premier League side Chelsea have confirmed the arrival of France forward Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig on a six-year contract until 2029. Nkunku, 25, joined Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019 and scored 70 goals in 172 appearances in all competitions for the German club.

Chelsea hired Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager on Monday as the Argentine accepted the daunting task of reviving the troubled Premier League club. Pochettino agreed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year and will return to the Premier League four years after being sacked by Chelsea's London rivals Tottenham. The 51-year-old had been out of work since being dismissed by Paris Saint-Germain in July 2022.

The club's lengthy search for a permanent successor to Graham Potter concluded with the Premier League side opting for the former Tottenham manager on a two-year contract, with a club option of a further year.
