Australia batter Steve Smith has been in fine form for the team in the ongoing tour of Pakistan. After playing knocks of 78 and 72 in the first and second Test in Rawalpindi and Karachi, respectively, Smith registered yet another 50+ score in the first innings of the ongoing third and final Test at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Despite failing to reach triple figures so far in the series, Smith scripted a huge record with his knock of 59 in the first innings. Smith, who took his tally of runs to 7,993, surpassed former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara, who had scored 7,913 runs after 150 Test innings.

Left-armer Dwarshuis joins a squad that is also missing pacemen Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, who are set to return home following the ongoing third and final Test in Lahore. Australia, who are on their first trip to Pakistan since 1998, are scheduled to play three one-day internationals and one Twenty20 match against the hosts in Lahore from March 29 to April 5.

Pakistan vs Australia, 3rd Test, Day 2 Live Scores Updates: Pakistan will look to make further inroads as Cameron Green and Alex Carey aim to take Australia to a decent first innings total. Opener Usman Khawaja missed a century by nine Monday and Steve Smith fell short of completing 8,000 runs as Australia ended the opening day of the third and final Test on 232-5 against Pakistan in Lahore. At the close, Cameron Green was on 20 and Alex Carey eight, surviving the second new ball until bad light brought closure two overs early. (LIVE SCORECARD)
Australia Test captain Pat Cummins has had his fair share of on-field battles with modern-day greats Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Babar Azam and Kane Williamson. When asked about the similarities in how these prolific right-handers construct their innings in the longest format of the game to achieve the amount of success that all of them have managed consistently, Cummins said all of them "know their game" incredibly well. "All know their game incredibly well, They are never flustered, happy to bat long periods of time," Cummins said while replying to an NDTV query in a select-media interaction organized by Sony Sports Network.
The Rajasthan Royals might have found themselves heavily reliant on skipper Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler for explosive batting but for their smart recruiting of young Indian players.
