Shreyas Iyer stunned both experts and fans as he took a blinder to dismiss Usman Khawaja during Day 2 of the second Test match between India and Australia on Saturday. It was a straightish delivery from Ravindra Jadeja and Khawaja made up his mind early to paddle sweep it towards fine leg. However, Shreyas, who was fielding at leg gully, moved swiftly towards his left and pulled off a stunning catch to make sure that the Australia opener was not able to repeat his first innings heroics. The 34-year-old dismissed Alex Carey (0) to achieve the feat. Former India captain Anil Kumble (111) is the only other bowler with 100 or more scalps against Australia in the longest format of the game.

Khawaja looked completely at ease after finishing his half century and it took a special effort on the field to finally end his stay. The Australia opener went for an adventurous reverse sweep, but KL Rahul pulled off a full-stretched dive to complete the one-handed catch.
