Nick Kyrgios came flying out of the blocks to win his held over match against Reilly Opelka at the Citi Open. The match was suspended on Thursday night due to the threat of stormy weather with Kyrgios winning 7-6(1) 2-1. Ad/> He made a quick start to break Opelka in the first game when the match resumed and went on to take three of the next four games in just 14 minutes to win the match 7-6(1) 6-2.

World number three Rafael Nadal, who has not played since suffering an abdominal tear at Wimbledon last month, has withdrawn from next week's ATP event in Montreal, he said on Twitter on Friday.
Rafael Nadal will not compete at the Masters 1000 event in Montreal after suffering discomfort while training. The 36-year-old, who won the Australian Open and French Open earlier in the year to add to his astonishing tally of Grand Slam singles titles, had to withdraw ahead of his Wimbledon semi-final with Nick Kyrgios after suffering one injury too many.
