POTCHEFSTROOM, South Africa : Heinrich Klaasen smashed an unbeaten 119 from 61 balls as South Africa eased to a four-wicket victory over West Indies in the third and final one-day international at Senwes Park on Tuesday, ensuring the honours are shared in the series.
South Africa vs West Indies, 3rd ODI, Live:Brandon King and Kyle Mayers have started the proceedings for West Indies against South Africa. South Africa stand-in skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and opted to field against West Indies in the third and final ODI of the three-match series, at the Senwes Park in Potchefstroom on Tuesday. Temba Bavuma has been rested from the match after he picked up a hamstring injury in the last game. After the first match was called-off due to rain, West Indies won the second ODI by 48 runs and took 1-0 lead in the series. Cricket West Indies on Wednesday named Shai Hope and Rovman Powell as West Indies' ODI and T20I captains respectively. West Indies Cricket confirmed that Hope and Powell will take over from Nicholas Pooran as captains of the Men's ODI and T20I teams for the upcoming tour of South Africa and beyond. Pooran stepped down as skipper in both white-ball formats after the West Indies' early exit at November's ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
