"It has been a nice period for the last couple of years, really enjoying the environment and a few of us that have been around for a while and also loving the atmosphere with quite a few youngsters coming in," Head said after the win.

Videos of the test is going viral on social media as the cricketers were asked some personal questions too. Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Mitchell Marsh, and Josh Hazlewood were the other members of the Australian cricket team, who were part of the lie detector test. The test took place during a 'Fletch and Hindy' show on the Fox Network. NDTV could not independently identify the credibility of it.

Australian cricketers Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Mitchell Marsh, Pat Cummins, Usman Khawaja and Josh Hazlewood went through a funny lie detector test. During the test, all the cricketers were asked some funny questions and a blue light on the buzzer would go up if the answer is correct. However, a wrong answer would see the a red light go up on the buzzer with the respective player getting a bit of electric shock. The players were asked several questions related to their personal lives, and during that they also spilled beans about several incidents related to another star Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell.

Australia Test captain Pat Cummins expects greater workload with the ball for all-rounders Cameron Green and Mitchell Marsh against India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy this summer. Cummins wants both the all-rounders to share the workload with the team's frontline pace attack in the gruelling five-Test series starting November. "It's been huge (having the all-rounders). In some ways we haven't had to use them as much as we thought we would. Which is a great thing. The last couple of summers have been pretty light (with) quick Test matches," Cummins said at the launch of Play Cricket week.

In a video posted by BCCI on their social media handles, Chahal could be seeing enacting a bus conductor as he shouted "ground, ground, ground" as the team bus entered the stadium. He even tapped the side of the bus multiple times while peeping out of the window. Chahal had a very good outing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 that led to his selection and he has not featured in any T20 World Cup 2024 match.

Indian cricket team all-rounder Axar Patel left both fans and experts stunned after taking a sensational one-handed catch to dismiss Australia captain Mitchell Marsh during their T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 clash on Monday. Marsh was looking in brilliant form and he slammed a delivery from Kuldeep Yadav firmly towards deep square leg. Axar was a little late to react to the chance but the ball stuck to his right hand as the stadium erupted. It was a special catch as he is a southpaw but it used his right hand to complete the catch brilliantly. The video of the catch has already gone viral on social media.
